Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica!
I am so excited to answer your question as my wife and I recently brought our little princess to Walt Disney World and we had a similar question prior to our vacation.
We ended up staying in a savanna view room at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and we requested a complimentary
Pack ‘n Play playards that are available for Guests at all Disney Resort hotels. We found a little nook, near the doorway that would connect us to the adjoining room. This ended up being the perfect (dark and quiet) placement for the playard so we could still relax on the couch each evening. In fact, each evening one of us would quietly leave the room to go on a Mickey Premium Bar search... after all ice cream tastes so much better on vacation.
However, I will tell you that I recently had the opportunity to visit
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and let me tell you, the rooms are fantastic! Be prepared to immerse yourself in the magic of spacious accommodations for the whole family to spread out. Family suites include a bedroom with one queen-size bed; one double-size convertible TableBed; one double-size sleeper sofa; living room; 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. Plus, your two-year-old will love the theming as the resort is inspired by some of your favorite animated movies and offers the largest resort pool within Walt Disney World Resort. While this might sound like too much space, I assure you this is on my radar for our next vacation for our family of three.
If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
