Hi Keyla,
I'm SO excited for your first family vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! There are lots of fun things happening during spring break like the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival and some special Easter events. With different school schedules, you'll find spring break crowds spread over multiple weeks, and while the end of March and beginning of April are quite popular times to visit, don't worry...I have some tips to help you navigate the parks well!
First, take advantage of the complimentary
FastPass+ system. Beginning 30-60 days before you arrive, you may choose three attractions or experiences per day to enjoy without waiting in the standby lines. Then, once you've enjoyed those three selections, you may use the My Disney Experience app or an in-park kiosk to make additional selections for your day, one at a time, pending availability. This will save you a LOT of time! I'd also suggest dining either earlier or later than traditional meal times and snacking in between to help avoid wait times during your meals. Some restaurants even offer mobile ordering though the
My Disney Experience app, which will also save you quite a bit of time! If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, be sure to take advantage of
Extra Magic Hours! Finally, the attached video from my friend Emma has another fantastic time-saving tip!
Be sure to ask for "My First Visit" pins when you arrive and don't hesitate to ask the friendly Cast Members for help if you need anything. Have a truly magical vacation, Keyla!
