Hi Christy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!! I am so excited for your family’s FIRST Walt Disney World Resort vacation! My husband and I first took our two boys when they were both under two and we have some of the most special memories from our trip. Granted, my boys don’t remember that trip, but we sure do! Everything about it was memorable (including the inevitable toddler meltdowns), but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Even now that my boys are a bit older and don’t ride in a stroller at home, I still find a stroller a complete necessity when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. When we visit, we utilize ours pretty much wherever we go, and I would recommend having one at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. After long days at the theme parks, the last thing you will want to do is carry your over-tired littles back to the
bus for transportation to your hotel and then back to your hotel room. I can guarantee you won’t regret having it with you!
Strollers are available to
rent at the theme parks, but if you plan on visiting more than one park in a day, you will need to return it before leaving one theme park and then pick one up at the next theme park. Additionally, with the ages of your little Mouseketeers, I do believe they will be more comfortable in your own personal stroller – especially if they like to catch a catnap in it! If you don’t want to bring one from home, there are some outside companies that you can rent from and they will even deliver to your hotel!
Wishing you a magical vacation filled with SO many memories!
