Hi Brittany! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
First, I want to say a big "Thank you!" to your family for your military service. I'm so happy that you get to visit the Walt Disney World Resort as a family to relax and enjoy each other!
There is SO much to do for the whole family, including your young twins! Make sure to pick up the complimentary "First Visit" buttons when you arrive. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, these can be picked up at the Front Desk. If you are staying off-property, stop by Guest Relations to ask for your buttons. I have still have the buttons from my children's first visits.
I suggest browsing the attractions prior to your visit to see what
rides are available without height requirements for the whole family. It's amazing the amount of attractions that the youngest Guests can enjoy! And don't shy away from the shows. My little ones have always been captivated by the entertainment and happily sat through the whole show. It can be a nice way to get a little rest in a cool location.
There are
Baby Care Centers located in all four theme parks and they have changing tables, feeding areas and spots to take a quick break. Speaking of feeding areas, I always take in plenty of snacks for my kids. We have avoided many tantrums by pulling out a favorite and familiar food to munch on!
Take your time as you stroll through the theme parks. It can be overwhelming to try to get everything done, but some of our favorite family memories have happened when we let our little ones wander slowly and take in all of the little details around this magical place!
I hope this helps a little with your planning, Brittany! Let us know if you have any other questions.
