Hi! We are planning our first family trip for June 2019 and are staying at the Beach Club Villas. I am wondering if the Extra Hours are the same for each park . I would love to know specifics before I start booking restaurants and fast passes in December

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Meghan! How exciting! You’ve picked a great resort for your first family visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Disney’s Beach Club Villas is beautiful, spacious and recently renovated.

Extra Magic Hours are my favorite benefit of being a Disney Resort hotel guest. I keep my eye on the Park Hours Calendar to check on those magical hours as early as six months before my visit, because they do vary. I also make my dining reservations and FastPass+ selections based on Extra Magic Hours. It’s always a good thing when you have more play time at your favorite theme parks!

For example, some mornings you will be able to enjoy time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new Toy Story Land is so fun, and it really does feel like you’re in Andy’s backyard! Other evenings you can spend some time visiting your favorite attractions at the Magic Kingdom Park. It can go either way at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, where there's so much to explore at Pandora- World of Avatar. The flora and fauna are a sight to see and smell!

Meghan, as a Disney Resort hotel guest, you can start making your FastPass+ selections 60 days before your visit. This works out great because you will be able to view Extra Magic Hours for all of the theme parks at that time. You can start making dining reservations 180 days before your visit. There are lots of great new experiences to be had at Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom Park and Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, where you can dine with Snow White and her friends! These reservations may be tricky to get, so if you do decide to book one of these experiences, you’ll want to plan around them.

Feel free to stop by again with any other questions! Helping you with the details of your next magical stay is our pleasure!
