We are planning our first family trip for July 2016 and we couldnt be more excited. My question is about the snack credits. How do I know if a restaurant has items that qualify for snack credits? Are things marked or is it trial and error? Thank you

Hello, Jessica! A warm welcome to you from the Disney Parks Moms Panel as your vacation countdown has begun. I am so excited for you and your family's first Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Spotting snacks you may purchase using your Disney Dining Plan snack credits is nice and easy. While visiting food Kiosks, gift shops, and Quick-Service dining locations simply look on the menus for the Disney Dining Plan snack logo next to the item price. The logo is a purple and white checker board box. You will be pleasantly surprised to see the variety of items you are able to use your snack credits for beyond nachos, popcorn, and soft Mickey Pretzels (which are still delicious by the way). Check out some of the Disney Parks Moms Panel members favorite snack options.

Jessica, please come visit us if you have any other questions or concerns as you plan your magical vacation during the next year.

    Have a magical day!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
