Hello, I am planning my first family trip to Disney with my 3 and 8 year old. We are booked to stay at Pop Century. Tips for getting the best room? We've selected a preferred room already. Thanks in advance!

Howdy, Melissa! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your upcoming vacation! Pop Century is very cool and modern, featuring some fabulous new room upgrades in various buildings that set off the decor nicely!

Walt Disney World Resort has a great feature for Resort guests called Online Resort Check-in, which allows you to set room preferences, attach a credit card with secret PIN and other resort options in the days before check-in. The same feature I know and love online is now available in the My Disney Experience Mobile App, so be sure to download that for all it’s great uses.

When I’m prompted for Room Requests, I often ask to be placed close to Transportation, ask for a Crib (for my baby) or detail any other needs we may have. This would be a great place for you to make requests for the same, depending on what makes a “best room” for you. Transportation, close to the Food Court, Pools, a quiet room, or one of the more recently renovated rooms with murphy beds. If there is anything else I can help with regarding your trip, please let me know. Have a magical vacation. ~ Lindsey P.
