    Hi, We are planning our first family trip to Disney World the end of Feb 2014. My daughters will be 3 and 2. They can not wait to meet Minnie, Mickey & Pluto, Wanting to do this over a meal, what's the best character dining to meet these characters?

    Hello Amanda!  I can only imagine how excited your little princesses are, knowing that they are going to be meeting all of their favourite Disney characters face-to-face!  My best suggestion for a character dining experience where they will get to meet Mickey, Minnie and Pluto would be Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  This is not only a great place to meet the most popular Disney friends, but they have a really delicious, kid-friendly buffet with a dessert and ice-cream bar that make it worth every penny! It's one of my family's favourite restaurants - even though my kids are much older than yours, it really brings out the inner-child in everyone!

    Amanda, you will definitely want to make advance reservations for Chef Mickey's or any other Table Service restaurant you will be wishing to dine at during your Walt Disney World vacation.  This can be done 180 days in advance of your arrival at a Walt Disney World resort.

    Also, be sure to pick up 1st Visit celebration buttons for your family when you arrive.  They are complimentary, and are available at any Walt Disney World resort or at Guest Relations at any of the theme parks.  You just may get some special attention or greetings from the Disney Cast Members!
