I am planning my first family trip to Disney for 6 people total. We are not drivers when we travel to the states and are looking at renting a vacation home in the reunion resort for our stay. Is it too much of a hassell to use taxis/ubers to get around?

    Hello Elizabeth!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Happy 1st Trip!

I frequently use Uber, Lyft, or taxis when traveling around the Orlando area. It's not a hassle once you get the hang of it, but it can definitely add up in cost depending on how far away you are from Walt Disney World Resort. Each theme park has a shared ride pickup point, except for Magic Kingdom Park. Only the Minnie Vans can pick up there.

When we travel within Walt Disney World Resort, and I need to get somewhere in a hurry, then we use the Minnie Van Service. As soon as you see those red and white polka dotted vans, you'll have a smile on your face.

One of the main reasons my family stays at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is so we don't have to worry about driving. With complimentary transportation to and from Orlando International airport, plus all around Walt Disney World Resort by boat, bus, and monorail, we leave the driving to someone else!

We love the Family Suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort for an economical stay for a family of 6.
