Greetings Amy,
Congratulations on planning your family's first Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Hooray! Planning the vacation can be such a fun part of the magic and we are honored you have decided to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I always enjoy dining with our favorite characters to get a little more interaction time with them (and more pictures.) For Disney Princesses your have a few options, but my top choices are
Cinderella's Royal Table and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Dinner in Cinderella Castle is fairy-tale perfect, especially timed right to enjoy Wishes through the windows. The medieval castle setting of Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is another storybook location and offers a wonderful meal with many favorite princesses and even a friend or two.
My 4-year-old is a huge fan of Mickey Mouse, so we always visit him at
Town Square Theater (our favorite location.) He also loved the
Disney Junior Play 'n Dine experience at Hollywood & Vine. For a special treat they both may enjoy together I recommend
The Pirates League. Your son could become a swashbucklin' pirate, while your daughter might like becoming a shimmering mermaid complete with make-up and glitter.
Have a magical vacation, Amy, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with in your planning.
Pixie Dust,
Lauren
