Hello! I am planning our first ever WDW vacation and have some questions on the transportation. Can someone tell me how we would get from The Art of Animation Resort to Epcot, then from Epcot to Chef Mickeys since we have dinner reservations there. Thanks

    Hi Aidee,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. How nice for you guys, first time at WDW is magical and unforgettable. You are totally right on planning everything ahead. Ask a Disney Cast Member at your check- in time about Disney’s Art of Animation Resort bus schedule, they’ll tell you that buses run about every 20 minutes. In reality, the bus schedule varies considerably depending on the time of day and where you're headed. For example, if you're headed to the Magic Kingdom between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., you'll wait around 8 minutes, on average, for a bus to arrive. The bus schedules for Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios are about the same early in the day, with a bus arriving every 12-23 minutes, on average. Bus schedules to the water parks and Disney Springs are a little less frequent, and you could wait anywhere from 15 to 37 minutes for a ride. Believe me, I never waited more than four minutes to a bus, the system is super-efficient. From Epcot to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the best way to get there is by monorail. The monorail will take you from Epcot to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC). Once you arrive at the TTC, you will need to change monorails. There is a resort monorail which will take you to the Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Make sure you get on this one, because there is also an express monorail which will take you to the Magic Kingdom.

Enjoy your meal at Chef Mickey's and have a nice trip!
