I am planning my first DW trip in March on 2016. We will be staying off site and want to make the most of our experience. I have a 2 year old and need toddler friendly ideas. What is the best way to spend our 1 day?

    Hello Jennie,

Welcome and congratulations on planning your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation. With a 1-day vacation, I highly suggest visiting only Magic Kingdom Park. There are so many adventures for your little one to see and experience like, "it's a small world," Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo the Flying Elephant--just to name a few.  A nice mid-day lunch break is made even more magical when dining with Disney Characters. I recommend making a dining reservation at either The Crystal Palace or Cinderella's Royal Table.

For even more attractions and experiences perfect for your toddler, visit the Planning For Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page of the Walt Disney World website. It is full of information, tips and even sample itineraries. We are also always here and happy to help, so if you think of any other questions or concerns, please let us know.  Have a wonderful time planning your visit.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
