Planning first DW family trip (2 adults and 2 children- 2 & 5) struggling between October ( Columbus day week/weekend) and November (veterans dy week/ weekend). Which would you recommend?

    Hi Sara!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

This is a great question.  Generally speaking, Columbus Day Weekend in October is slightly more crowded than Veterans Day Weekend in November.  However, compared to other holidays during the year, it is not that packed.

Both October and November have a special event in the Magic Kingdom.  If you go in October, you could experience Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and if you go in November then you could experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  Both are fabulous, but I prefer the Halloween party over the Christmas party.  It's fun to go trick or treating in the Magic Kingdom!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
