We are planning our first Disneyland trip in October! Our kids will be 4, 2.5, and 11 months. What are the best places to dine with kids these ages? Also, which meals do you recommend making reservations for?

Howdy, Samantha! I always get so excited when I am able to help a fellow Coloradan plan a vacation to the Disneyland Resort! October is a glorious time to visit as the parks will be decked out in autumn decor and the weather should be divine. I adore all the different food options available at the parks, but here are a few of my top picks for families:

    • Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn. This breakfast buffet has it all, including a multitude of characters to meet while you dine. While the character line up is subject to change, your kids might have the opportunity to meet Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Rafiki, Chip, Dale, Captain Hook, and, of course, Minnie. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance online or by calling (714) 781-3463.
    • Flo's V8 Cafe is a quick service dining option that is perfect for any meal when you are in Cars Land. The kids lunch or dinner meals come with fruit and veggies and the adult entrees are all phenomenal. Grab a seat outside and around the corner and you'll have a great view of cars racing by on Radiator Springs Racers while you eat.
    • If your family has varying tastes, the Pacific Wharf area in Disney California Adventure Park offers three cuisine options, specialty drink stands, and even a great dessert location all in one place.

There are so many dining options throughout the parks that the whole family will love! Even signature dining locations like Blue Bayou Restaurant are great for kiddos and adults alike. I'd love to share more with you, so please stop by again with more questions!
