    We are planning our very first Disney World Vacation in September. We will be there September 17-September 21, 2012. What type of weather can we expect? Wondering how we should pack?

    Hi Renee!

    It can still be very hot and humid in September.  I would definitely recommend packing t-shirts and shorts for the theme parks.  That said, the weather is a little bit unpredictable in September.  If it rains, it could be cool so I would also bring long pants and a light rain coat.  You should also bring a poncho or an umbrella, though both can be purchased inside the theme parks and throughout Walt Disney World.

    September is a great time to visit.  The parks will be less crowded than during the busy summer months.  Generally speaking, it is also a little bit cooler than the hot and humid summer months.
