Hi Jewel,
Based on my experience, there is no single list of “Must Dos” for any Walt Disney World Resort vacation; it all depends on what you and your family like and don’t like. For example, my kiddo doesn’t love roller coasters so we don’t include attractions like
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in our planning… meanwhile, for some families, no visit to Magic Kingdom Park is complete without singing “Heigh HOOOOOOOO” at the top of their lungs at least once!
I’d look at your kiddos and try to decide whether you think they’re little thrill seekers or not, keeping in mind the various height requirements for some of the more intense attractions, and then make your list from there. Don’t forget about the
Rider Switch service for people who need to stay behind with your littlest one. A good starting place for ideas of things to do with little ones (which may also work for you 7 year old too), I'd also read through the
Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page.
The one thing that I would say would be an absolute must for a visit around Halloween would be complete without an evening at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park. Not only are are the entertainment options and character greetings amazing, but your kiddos will get to trick-or-treat throughout the Park! It’s an unforgettable experience, and one that is well worth the price of admission.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
