Hi, We are planning our first Disney vacation (WDW) with 2 kids (under 10 yrs.) between 17th Nov13 thru 23rd Nov 13. I'll really appreciate if someone can let me know how crowded it is during this time and also what is the weather like. Thanks

    Hi, Arup!

I love traveling to Walt Disney World in November.  The weather is comfortable with pleasant days and just a bit of chill in the air in the evenings.   Just remember to bring along jackets for after the sun goes down.  Holiday decorations start to pop up everywhere, so take time to enjoy all the merriment!

The week of November 17 should be a great time as far as crowds go.  The following week gets crazy with the Thanksgiving holiday, but the week before is usually nice.  The closer you get to the end of your vacation, you will see the crowds build as guest begin to arrive for the holiday.  Try to get in all your "must see" attractions early in the week!

Your kids might enjoy some character dining, so plan ahead by booking some fun meals like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary or Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom.  They are going to have so much fun experiencing all the magic for the first time!

If you need help with resort choices or anything else, let me know! I would be happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
