Hello, we are planning our first Disney vacation for March and our kids will be 4 years and 6 months at the time. We will be staying offsite with friends. Given the ages of our children, would one day at Magic Kingdom be enough?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Hera. We're glad you stopped by!

I'm so excited to hear you're planning your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation. How very exciting! Your heart is going to just melt when you see your little ones experience the magic of Disney. Magic Kingdom Park has always been my kids' favorite of the four theme parks. There are so many family-friendly attractions, dining locations, Character Experiences, and entertainment options that are perfect for small children. My family actually prefers to spend three days in Magic Kingdom Park. It takes us two days to experience everything, and then we like to have the third day to revisit our absolute favorites. We take long afternoon breaks, though. Shortly after lunch, we'll head back to our Resort hotel where we'll swim and then take naps before heading back to Magic Kingdom Park in the evening. If you plan on spending full days there, I think planning two days in Magic Kingdom Park would be ideal. You should be able to fit in most of your must-do's in the first day, and the second will allow you to revisit the things your kids liked best.

I hope this was helpful, Hera. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling with your little ones to the Walt Disney World Resort!
