I am planning our first Disney vacation June 15-19. It will be 2 adults and 3 kids (4, 8, & 8). We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside and have a 5 day park ticket and meal plan. Does anyone have an itenerary that would be helpful?

Be prepared for heat and humidity. When we toured the parks in June, we carried misting fans, wore hats, escaped into shows for a break from the sun and returned to our resort in the afternoons. Touring in the mornings and evenings will be the most comfortable.

If I were taking my family, I would visit the parks in this order:

    June 15 Animal Kingdom
    June 16 Epcot
    June 17 Magic Kingdom
    June 18 Hollywood Studios
    June19 Magic Kingdom

We toured the Magic Kingdom on Father's Day and the crowds were similar to the lines earlier in the week. Stores will sell exclusive Father's Day shirts so plan ahead to treat Dad!

Enjoy a wonderful first vacation to the WDW resort!
