We are planning our first Disney trip and we are staying in the All Star Sports Resort and have breakfast reserved at the Crystal Palace at 9:15 am. What time should we plan on getting on a bus to head to MK? Will we be able to get in before it opens?

    Hi Andrianne,

A first Walt Disney World visit is so exciting! I love eating at Crystal Palace and meeting Winnie the Pooh and friends there.

I would plan to be at the All-Star Sports bus stop no later than 7:45 a.m. so that you can be on one of the first buses for Magic Kingdom. The buses typically start running about an hour or so before the park opens. The ride from the All-Star resorts to Magic Kingdom takes about 20 minutes, and the buses sometimes stop at All-Star Music and All-Star Movies after pick-up at All-Star Sports enroute to the parks.

So if you are on the bus by 8 a.m. or so, you should have be at the gates of Magic Kingdom by about 8:30. Look for the specially marked entrance for those with early dining reservations. Even though the park will be open by your reservation time, you may be able to get inside a little early. If you don't see it, any cast member can direct you. It's a good idea to have your dining reservation number with you.

To reach Crystal Palace, hang a left as you pass Casey's Corner at the end of Main Street.

I hope that's helpful for you. Please let us know if we can answer any last-minute questions for you. Enjoy the magic!
