Hello Brittany,
As Mama to a 2-year-old boy, the one thing I can tell you is that you and your daughter are in for an amazing vacation when you visit Walt Disney World Resort next March! While I loved my visits as an adult, there is something just so magical about seeing Walt Disney World Resort through a toddler’s curious eyes.
The first resource that I would recommend for you would be the
Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page. There, you’ll find all kinds of great recommendations for planning a magical trip with your great niece, as well as some great attraction and itinerary suggestions.
I really don’t think that you can go wrong when it comes to choosing a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for your upcoming stay. Your choice will really depend on your family’s priorities and budget. If you’re planning to stick to your daughter’s nap schedule (or close to it), staying at any one of the Resorts along the Magic Kingdom monorail line (especially
Disney’s Contemporary Resort or
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort) might be more convenient for you. If you’re looking to spend less of your vacation budget on your accommodations, then I cannot recommend
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (and it’s amazing Big Blue Pool) enough! Plus, if you opt for a Family Suite, you’ll have more room and amenities, which can be useful when travelling with a toddler.
I hope this gives you a good start for planning your vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day!
Lynne
