We are planning our first Disney trip for Feb 3-10, two boys ages 4 and 5 (SO excited!) I want to make dining reservations, but want to try to coordinate with the parks we will be in. Any suggestions on fun experiences for my boys, and when to go where?

    Hi Sarah,

There are so many fantastic restaurants to experience at Walt Disney World and it can be tricky deciding which ones to visit.

with two young boys, I would definitely recommend booking some Character Meals. Some of our favourite Character Meals include:-

Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at Disney's Polynesian Resort
Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Some other fun non-character meals which my 9-year-old son has enjoyed during previous visits are:-

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort
    Ohana's at Disney's Polynesian Resort
Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot
Les Chefs de France in the France Pavilion at Epcot

To save on the amount of time which you will spend travelling around, I would suggest that you firstly plan out which Disney Parks you will be visiting each day of your stay. Then, make your advance dining reservations for each day based on where you will be. Either at a restaurant located inside that particular Theme Park or at a Disney Resort hotel which is found nearby.

You can search for availability and make your advanced dining reservations up to 180 days prior to your visit on the Walt Disney World website HERE or by calling (407) 939-3463.

Character meals in particular are very popular so I would recommend that you make your dining reservations at your earliest possible opportunity to avoid disappointment.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
