Nova: Although I am a big fan of Fort Wilderness, the cabin experience is vastly different from the well-themed palate of the Art of Animation Resort. Here are some of the highlights to consider:
The decision comes down to how much time you see yourself spending at your resort and whether your children--and you--could benefit from the relaxed atmosphere of the fort versus the continuation of the theme park animation at AOA. Keep in mind that your children will only be young for so long to enjoy AOA and you can enjoy the fort later. But know that regardless of your decision, you'll be pleased with either. Wishing y'all a magical vacation! Whitney
