We're planning our very first Disney trip ever in 10/2013 (so excited!!!!). We're staying 7 days. What is probably the best time of evening to plan our dinner reservations so we don't miss Fantasmic or any of the various fireworks shows?

    Hi Tracy!

Congrats on your first trip to Walt Disney World! You are in for a magical treat!

I suggest that you make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) for the Fantasmic! Dinner Package at Disney's Hollywood Studios so you can enjoy dinner and guaranteed seating for the Fantasmic show. Fantasmic! is an extremely popular show, so it can be difficult to obtain seats, some guests lining up two hours prior to the start of the show. This can make it difficult to enjoy dinner reservations or any nightly activities if you plan to watch Fantasmic!

If you purchase the Fantasmic! Dinner Package, you can dine at one of three restaurants, The Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose or Hollywood and Vine. When you call 407-WDW-DINE they will advise you of the times available to book the package. If the Fantasmic! show is at 9:00 p.m. you will probably want to eat dinner around 6:00 or so, to give you time to eat and enjoy dinner, then take in a few attractions before heading to the amphitheatre. You will still need to arrive at the Amphitheater 30 to 45 minutes prior to showtime. This is much better than two hours prior! And you are guaranteed to have a seat! You will receive your VIP Voucher during your meal and you will show it to the Cast Member upon entering the theatre.

I hope you have a magical visit!

    Magically,
    Stacy
