We are planning our first Disney Trip Dec 26 16, I am traveling with a wide age range. We will have a total of 14 in our group and the ages of the children will be from 20-2 along with my parents . Any advice on what to purchase as far as park admission ?

    Hi, Heather!

What a great experience to be traveling with your family - 14 in all. Wow! This sounds like a lot of fun.

If you plan to stay together all day, I would buy base tickets, as park hopping might get a bit complicated trying to coordinate all 14 family members. I would plan on at least 4 days, one day for each theme park.

Ready for the good news? Any of your guests under the age of 3 are admitted into the parks for free! Kids ages 3 - 9 get a special child rate, so you can also save a few dollars there.

If you plan to have any buffets, character meals, or Table Service meals, I suggest you call (407)WDW-DINE as soon as you hit your 180 day booking window. They can help secure a table for your large party. Plan to dine in the park you will be in that day if you do not add on that Park Hopper option mentioned earlier. Quick Service locations do not require a reservation.

Good luck, and as you continue planning, let us know here at the Moms Panel if we can help in any way!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
