Planning our first Disney trip this coming February for my husband, almost 4 year old daughter and myself. Do the resorts have early check in times? What is the actual check in time for Art of Animation...I can't seem to find it.

    Hi there Catherine!

What part of February are you going? My birthday is on the 13th so make sure to wear a button to celebrate!

Disney's Art of Animation resort is beautiful and your daughter is going to love all of the Disney/Pixar characters found all around the resort! My son has been trying to get us to stay there for the last several months! i think I will have to give in soon!

The typical check in time for Walt Disney World resorts ranges from 3:00 to 4:00 pm depending on the resort. This doesn't mean that you have to wait for the "Official" check in time. You can check-in 60 days in advance via online check-in or showing up at the hotel after six in the morning the day of check-in. The availability of a room when you arrive will depend on how busy the resort is at that time. If there isn't a room available, you will still be able to check-in and they will even hold your luggage for you. Once you are finished with your check-in, you are free to enjoy the resort or theme parks. When your room is available, a DIsney Cast Member will contact you to let you know that your room is ready. It's a very simple process and I have been pleased whenever we have had to wait for a room.

Thank you very much for asking the Moms Panel! If you have additional questions, we are always here to help.
