Hi I am planning my very first Disney trip i have children 4,5,6 and need ideas for ADRs that will be fun for the kids not sure we will be able to do Parks late so maybe places we can see fireworks or fun things for them. I love reading this pannel thanks!

    Hi Heather!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel, and thank you for the compliment.  Everybody on the panel enjoy helping guests plan their magical vacations!

I have two boys, ages 12 and 7.  When they were younger (or when my oldest was younger) their favorite restaurants were (and in some cases still are):
    • Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort
    • 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
    • Sci Fi Dine In Theater in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • 50's Prime Time in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Coral Reef Restaurant in the Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot
    • Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion in Epcot
    • San Angel Inn in the Mexican Pavilion in Epcot
    • Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom

They also loved going to the Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I'm not sure they really enjoyed Boma, the restaurant we visited.  Personally, I think Boma is one of the best restaurants in all of Walt Disney World, but my children were just interested in visiting the lodge and then going out to view the animals after eating there.  If you have girls, you definitely want to consider Cinderella's Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom or Princess Storybook Dining in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
