We are planning our first Disney trip with our children 7 and 5 in August 2010. We were thinking of booking the Pop culture resort. Any tips as to a good location of a room to request.

Hello from Texas!  Pop Century has always been a family favorite.  The resort brings back a lot of childhood memories for both my husband and myself.  My kids get a kick out of what was so neat and popular during a certain decade. I have always requested our rooms to overlook the swimming pool area.  Even though it is a popular location, it is still very quiet, yet candy for the eyes with all the decorations.  Also, I really enjoy getting a room next to the food court area.  It is easy access to the soda fountains and a fast treat if the little ones get hungry.  I know you will enjoy your stay and I am so excited for you and your family.  Do not forget to ask for "First Visit" buttons at the front desk.  I love to see families who are visiting for the first time.  I get so excited for them!
