    I am planning our very first Disney trip for August 2019. The plan is to stay at AOA as it has the most "Disney" themed. We are only there a few days and looking to go to MK. About how long is the bus ride or should we drive to the park?

    Wow, it is so awesome that you have your first Walt Disney World vacation planned for August 2019 and that you are planning to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! Using the Walt Disney World Transportation System it will take approximately 20 minutes once you get on the Disney bus to get from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to the Magic Kingdom Park and you will be dropped of at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom Park which will save you time verses driving a vehicle. If you plan to drive your vehicle to to the Magic Kingdom Park then you will have to plan for extra time to park your vehicle, take a tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center (the TTC) and then take a Monorail or Ferry Boat to the Magic Kingdom Park. For any of the other 3 theme parks, it may be faster to drive your vehicle. I hope that your first Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
