Planning our first Disney trip for April 2018. Any suggestions for 3 kids - ages 2, 7, and 11? Are any of the parks better than others for the ages we have? We are very excited but its so overwhelming!

    Hi Candice!

Ahhhh, first Disney trip!!! I had to get that out of the way, because I get so excited when families experience Walt Disney World for the first time. You're right, the planning can be overwhelming. That's why I'm happy you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're here to help.

Each of the 4 Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks offer something different, but my family's favorite is Magic Kingdom Park. This park has the most rides for your family to enjoy together, and there's something for everyone from to the little one to the tweens. My kids are all about the rides, so the more they can pack in a day, the better.

I suggest visiting each park if you can. If time is short, and you have to choose, I would pick based on the interests of your children. If you have animal lovers, then I suggest Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Go on a safari ride in an African savanna or be whisked away to another world in Pandora - The World of Avatar. It's breathtaking. And do not miss Flight of Passage! Your 2-year-old will no be tall enough to ride, but you can use Rider Switch.

Epcot is another favorite in our family. My kids and I love to ride Test Track, Soarin', and Frozen Ever After. But the real MVP is the food in World Showcase. You can enjoy food and snacks from 11 different countries all while learning about different cultures.

If you have Star Wars fans, then Disney's Hollywood Studios is not to be missed. It's currently undergoing construction for the opening of Toy Story Land in the summer of 2018, so if I had to skip a park, I'd choose that one. There's not much for your little one to ride right now.
