Hi Addison! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for bringing your question to me! I actually just returned from a solo trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and LOVE to hear that you are planning one. Do you know what my favorite part of solo traveling was? Not having to share my delicious snacks with anyone. Ha!
Decisions, decisions. Deciding when to travel to our happy place is a tough one! Personally, I am looking forward to the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival which will be taking place if you go in September, and that leaves me leaning towards that option. However, I would try to go sometime after Labor Day when the crowds die down a little as kids go back to school, but avoid the week leading up to the
Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration beginning October 1, 2021, because crowds will grow!
If you decide that June is a better fit for you, keep in mind that you need both a valid
Walt Disney World theme park ticket AND a
Disney Park Pass reservation to visit the theme parks. You will want to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure that your dates are available for reserving the theme parks you want to go to and then snag your reservations now! They fill up quickly.
Whichever date you decide, I know you will have the BEST time! Go at your own pace, take LOTS of selfies, and eat ALL the things. You deserve it! Please let me know if you have any other questions, Addison!
