As you may already know, there are over 30
Disney Resorts Collection hotels to choose from - which is absolutely incredible, but also a little overwhelming. The truth is, each resort is special and unique in its own way, and deciding where to stay is always a challenge! One important thing to know is that Disney resorts are divided into three different tiers: value, moderate, and deluxe.
For the lowest prices, you'll want to focus on the value resorts.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's All-Stars Resorts, and
Disney's Pop Century Resort all feature bright colors and larger-than-life decor that perfectly set the mood for your Disney vacation.
I recently spent the day at Pop Century with my pal Kurt, and I just loved the fun atmosphere and location on the Disney Skyliner!
Now, "value" can be a pretty subjective thing, so there's also a lot of value in the moderate and deluxe resorts, even though they cost more. Compared to the value resorts, moderate and deluxe resorts offer larger rooms, additional dining options, upgraded amenities, and alternative transportation options. For instance, you'll find table-service restaurants at most moderate resorts (like Sebastian's Bistro at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort), and
character dining experiences at many deluxe resorts (like 'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort).
As a HUGE fan of Disney resorts, I could name a million reasons I love staying on-site! But the biggest reason is always the
perks and benefits you receive as a Disney resort guest. This includes complimentary theme park transportation,
Early Theme Park Entry, and, for deluxe guests,
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. You'll also get an advantage when booking your
Lightning Lane passes and Advance Dining Reservations.
