Hello! We are planning our first Disney family vacation and we are so excited. :) How early can I start planning for a trip in early May of 2015?

    Hi Kimberly!

Congratulations on planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!  I can definitely understand your excitement to get started.  We don't yet know the exact date that rates and packages will be available online for 2015 dates, but based on what’s happened in past years, I'd start watching for those to appear around July or August 2014.  If you want to get a jump start before then, you can always call to make a room-only reservation up to 499 days before your check-out date by calling the reservation line at (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639).  Rates won't yet be guaranteed, but you'll have the peace of mind knowing you have exactly the Disney Resort Hotel and dates you want.  In the meantime, have fun exploring the Walt Disney World website and learning more about all the magic that's waiting for you and your family!  If you haven't already received a copy of the free Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD for 2014, I'd recommend requesting one at this link.

Wishing you pixie-dusted planning, Kimberly!  Please let us know if you have any other questions.
