We are planning our First DISNEY cruise in June 2012. Very excited. My question is, is there a difference in booking yourself online or phone or using a travel agent? I know a good bit about the other cruise lines, but not Disney. Thanks

    Hi, Peggy!

Congratulations on your preliminary plans to sail with Disney Cruise Line (DCL) next summer! To me, the biggest difference in sailing with Disney is that each member of your family is taken into consideration in order to make your vacation an amazing experience together and individually.

I have only booked my DCL vacations through Disney, but I've had several friends and family who have made reservations through travel agents with much success.  For any cruise as a general rule, you know that the farther out you book, the better deal you'll get. However, sometimes third-party providers can offer deals and discounts based on what is available in their "inventory" or through special promotions. You can shop around on line and take a look at some reputable travel agents suggested through trusted guide sites like allears.net, mousesavers.com and passporters.com. Or, you can inquire about the Disney travel agent nearest you.

I hope that helps you. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
