Ahoy, Tasha!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Yay for booking your first Disney Cruise! Next January might seem far away, but it will be here before you know it. I'm so happy to help answer these questions for you!
The Personal Navigator newsletter is a printed schedule of all the day's activities onboard. Your Stateroom Host/Hostess will leave a Personal Navigator newsletter for the following day in your stateroom each evening. (You will receive the Personal Navigator for embarkation day upon checking in at the Cruise Terminal.) I love using a highlighter and ending our day by going through the Personal Navigator each night and highlighting all the activities we don't want to miss for the following day! The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app has the schedule for the following day's activities, just like the Personal Navigator newsletter, but has even more information right at your fingertips! With the app downloaded to your mobile device, you can check out dinner menus, use the Onboard Chat feature to message other family members onboard who also have the app, access the ship's deck plans and so much more! Download the app now to start using the fun "Countdown to Your Cruise" feature!
You'll have the opportunity of choosing your
Port Arrival Time for embarkation day during your online check-in. For first-time cruisers, online check-in is available 75 days prior to your sail date. This will also be the time you're able to book Port Adventures and other activities onboard! On the morning of debarkation, all Guests are asked to be out of their staterooms by 8:00 a.m. and off the ship by 9:00 a.m after having a final breakfast with your serving team.
Tasha, I hope I was able to start your planning off right by answering your great questions!
