We are planning our first cruise. The Fantasy, deck 10 room 10576. Wondering about location, and noise levels. Our oldest says we may have a limited view. Because of an overhanging deck above us.

    Ahoy Georgette!
Congratulations on planning your first cruise - you'll be so happy you chose to sail with Disney Cruise Line! Our first cruise was on a Disney ship, and we were hooked! There's so much to see and do on a Disney Cruise line vacation, and the ships are gorgeous. The Disney Fantasy is the newest in the fleet, and is truly awesome.

I've looked at your stateroom on the Deck Plans, and it looks like you'll be midship near the elevators. That's a great location, with easy access to all the fun! As far as noise levels, your stateroom is located underneath the pool deck. When the pool is full of activity, you'll probably hear a bit of that in your room. The good news is, the pool deck is quiet at night, so that shouldn't affect you getting a good night's sleep. Want even more good news? You're only one deck away from the all-you-care-to-enjoy soft-serve ice cream station! (That's some prime real estate right there...)

As far as the view, you may have a slight overhang from the deck above. That being said, you'll have a great view of the ocean, but possibly not a full view of the sky. We cruised a few weeks ago, and I didn't spend enough time in the stateroom to even enjoy our view - I was on the go! There really is so much to do on a Disney Cruise, and I didn't want to miss any of the fun!

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any more questions as you plan your magical vacation! - Diane W.
