Planning a February 2020 vacation to WDW. When would be the best time to purchase tickets and reserve our resort room? When does Disney usually release packages or deals for the beginning of the year? Thanks!

    Greetings to you, Erica!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are happy that you stopped by with a question for us!

Planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation well in advance is a very smart thing to do since there is so much to do and to think about. Since you're getting a head start, you're sure to have all of your plans in place by next February though!

As for making your resort reservation, packages for 2020 have not currently been released yet. However, you should be able to make a room only reservation now if you would like. Then you could always convert your reservation into a package including tickets once those prices are released later this year. The benefit of doing this would guarantee that you have a reservation at the resort of your preference. Just be sure to keep checking back for the announcement of next year's packages and then call to make that change. I would bet that you'll see that announced by summer of this year.

I hope this helps to answer your question, Erica and please let us know if we can assist you with anything else. Have a magical day and happy planning!
