Hi Stacey,
I love that you are planning a Walt Disney World graduation gift trip for your high school senior!
My husband and I took a trip to Walt Disney World when I graduated. He arranged an amazing in-room celebration, using the
My Magical Triumph In-Room Celebration. This featured many surprises, including a banner on our door, a plush Mickey Mouse, and sparkling cider and glasses. My favorite surprise was the huge red and yellow box. Inside was a medal, with the lanyard personalized with my name and degree, and a certificate signed by Mickey Mouse himself celebrating my achievement. Today, Mickey Mouse still sits above my desk, wearing my graduation cap and the medal, right next to the certificate.
I spoke with a Dream Maker at Disney Floral and Gifts, who told me that they also quite often use the
Honor your Hero gift for graduations, which includes the certificate and medal I mentioned above. She also said that they do have graduation ears, complete with a tassel as you would find on a graduation cap; however, they probably will not get those in until early in the calendar year. Since your trip is in February, if you wait until January to order your gift, they might be in stock.
You can visit the
Disney Floral and Gifts website and click on the drop-down menu for "Special Occasions," under which there is a section for "Graduations." I do suggest that when you are ready to order, give them a call at (407) WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438). This way you can work with a Dream Maker to customize your gift.
Have a great time planning your trip, Stacey, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
