Hi there, we are planning on going Feb 7th to MK. It says they open at 9 that day. Is that the time the doors open after se ruth che k ot is that the opening ceremony? Also what the is the earliest for parking if we are paying to park there the morning of?

Hello Melissa and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In my opinion, arriving before Park opening at any Disney Park is a great idea.  The Magic Kingdom parking lot opens about 2 hours before the listed park opening time, and you will be allowed to enter the Park one hour before the official opening time. I recommend planning to arrive at the gate 90 minutes before the published opening time. This will help ensure a lower-stress morning and a peaceful walk down Main Street, U.S.A.  You might even have time to grab a Starbucks at the Main Street Bakery before heading toward the Castle. In my experience, the opening ceremony, Let the Magic Begin, kicks off in front of Cinderella Castle about 5 minutes before park opening time.

I hope you have the most magical of days at the Magic Kingdom- say hi to Mickey for me!

    See ya real soon,
