We are planning our family's first trip to WDW and are looking at traveling in Feb or March of 2015. What are the pros and cons to traveling during this time? Is there a time during those months that you would recommend traveling over others? Thank you!

    Hi Pamela:

When planning a vacation to Disney World, many Guests are concerned about crowd levels.  Disney World tends to attract more crowds when schools are out of session.  Many schools, particularly in the North East, have winter breaks the week of Presidents Day in February, so if you have flexibility, I would avoid that week.  Many schools also have Spring Breaks for a week or two in the March and early April time frame.  If you conduct an Internet search for "Spring Break Schedules," you can get a better picture of when schools are on break.  So generally speaking,  your best bet is likely February, avoiding Presidents Day week.

While temperatures can get cool at night, the day-time temperature at Disney World in February generally peaks in the low-70's, which will be much warmer than Connecticut.

    Enjoy your vacation.
