Hello! Planning my family’s first trip to Disney and my son is a huge Star Wars fan. I have an 8:40 dining reservation at H&V. Will I be able to sign him up for Jedi training before or should I skip the breakfast and line up for the best chance?

Greetings Kathryn and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited to hear that you are planning your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Get ready for the vacation of a lifetime!

My daughter is a Star Wars fan and one of her dreams is to become a Jedi Knight. This means that she always participates in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple. This is such an amazing activity for Padawans ages 4 to 12 who get to battle forces of the Dark Side with help from a Jedi Master.

Last time we visited we also booked an early breakfast at Hollywood & Vine to enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios before park opening time. The first thing we did upon entering was go straight to Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost located between the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and the 50's Prime Time Café to sign her up, so you can also do this before checking in for breakfast. I recommend arriving at the park at around 8:10 a.m. You will see that there won’t be many Guests there so I believe you will be able to select your preferred show time. Remember your child must be with you at sign-up.

I hope this helps you while planning, Kathryn! Please stop by if you have additional questions, we are delight to help!

May the Force be with you!
