I am planning our family's first trip to Disney with hubby, son (7), and daughter (5). I am trying to decide on whether to stay at the villas at the Wilderness Lodge or the Saratogo Villas. Any suggestions.

The villas at both of these locations are beautiful and it basically comes down to location.  I prefer to be as close to parks as possible and thus would choose the Wilderness Villas.  The boat to the Magic Kingdom takes only approximately 12 minutes from the villas and you can also reach Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary resort via a boat.  From the Contemporary you can catch the monorail and head to EPCOT and other resorts.  Buses will also take you from the Wilderness Lodge Villas to the other parks.

Saratoga Springs Villas are beautiful as well but it is a large complex and spread out.  At this location you are close to Downtown Disney and all the dining and recreation that area offers.

My choice would remain the Wilderness Lodge Villas!  I love the decor and atmosphere and all the trees.  For me it is a relaxing feeling coming back from busy parks!
