We are planning a family vacation in Sept 2012 to WDW with a 2 1/2 yo and 1 yo. I was wondering which moderate resort would be better to stay at either CB or PO? We would prefer the resort to have 2 queen beds since we will be sleeping with the kids. Thank

    Erin,

Hi from my hotel room in WDW!

Since the Caribbean Beach resort has double beds, I would recommend the Port Orleans resort for you. Since you have young kids, I highly recommend Port Orleans French Quarter over Port Orleans Riverside. POFQ is a quaint resort and not overwhelming in size as CBR can be to some guests.

POFQ underwent a recent renovation. Rooms are refurbished and now include queen size beds!

Boat transportation via the Sassagoula Riverboat to Downtown Disney is fun for the whole family. The pool slide is great for young kids as it's geared for smaller children.

    It's a great moderate resort!
