We are planning a family vacation at Old Key West Resort in summer 2018. I will be including the dining package in our booking and was wondering if it is possible to split the allocation between our party of 6?

    Hi Nicola,

As the original Disney Vacation Club Resort, there’s always been a lot to love about Disney’s Old Key West Resort. The Resort’s pretty pastel colors, beautiful palm trees, and swaying hammocks suspended over white powdery sand are just some examples of the tropical theming which helps to transport Guests back in time to the Key West of days gone by. Suffice to say, you will know from the minute you arrive at this Resort that it is time to unwind – it’s Vacation Time!

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to keep those relaxed and easy vibes going throughout your vacation. With everything pre-paid through your Magic Your Way Vacation Package, there will be no need to worry about meal budgets or calculating menu prices. However, as you are aware, all dining credits for each Guest included on a single Disney Resort hotel reservation will be grouped together and accessible from each Guest’s individual MagicBand. I placed a call to Disney Vacation Club Member Services who confirmed that currently there is no way to separate each individual Guest’s allocation of dining credits. Therefore, there will be an added responsibility on each Guest in your party to ensure that they are not using more than their own allocated dining credits throughout the course of your stay. Fortunately, to help keep track of your usage, your party’s remaining dining credits will be listed at the bottom of your receipt following each dining transaction. You can also request a printout of your remaining credits at any time by visiting Guest Relations or your Walt Disney World Resort Concierge desk.

    Happy Dining!
