Hi there, Elizabeth, and welcome to planDisney!
I have great news - and you might have already seen - June 13-14 are now available to make
theme park reservations! These typically start appearing on the reservation calendar around 120 days in advance, so as of when I am answering, they are available!
This will be such a fun way to spend a couple of days while in California! Have you been to the
Disneyland Resort before? As a fellow non-California local, here are a few of my tips to consider for a 2-3 day trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
(1) Purchase
Park Hopper tickets if you can swing it! The Disneyland Resort is extremely walkable, so nothing beats the convenience of being able to eat lunch at the
Carnation Cafe in Disneyland Park, then hop over to Disney California Adventure Park to ride
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.
(2) Consider also purchasing
Disney Genie+ service. This service gets you access to
Lightning Lane entrances on select attractions and
unlimited PhotoPass downloads. This means you can get access to much shorter wait times through the Lightning Lanes, and some amazing group pictures with PhotoPass photographers around the parks.
(3) Utilize the
Disneyland mobile app. You can utilize
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, see exactly where you are on the park map, and find times for the new nighttime spectacles and
parade that are part of the
Disney100 celebration.
(4) Bring water bottles! This is my secret, insider tip - SHHH. You are absolutely allowed to bring in refillable water bottles (as long as they are not glass containers), and there are
bottle-filling stations around the parks. It'll be important to stay hydrated - especially during your summer visit!
Thank you again for your question, Elizabeth. I hope this was helpful! Please feel free to
write me directly if you think of any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
