We are planning a family vacation Jun 8-14. Can anyone tell me which would be the better resort to stay at Kidani or Jambo house? We are planning to have a one bedroom villa with savanna view. We are traveling with a 3 and 5 yr old. Their first visit!!

    Hi David!

Most guests rave about Kidani Village, but I think the Jambo House portion of the Animal Kingdom Lodge is better.  That's mainly because I like the idea of having a very nice food court close by.  Kidani doesn't have one, while Jambo has a very good one.  I also think the lobby in Jambo House is a lot more spectacular than the lobby at Kidani Village.  Finally, I like some of the activities at Jambo House more, such as going out and looking at the animal with night vision goggles.

However, you can use all of the services and amenities of both Kidani Village and Jambo House -- you just have to travel between the two.  So I think the only real deciding factor for me is the fact that Jambo House has a nice food court.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
