We are planning a family vacation that will include my 18 month granddaughter. Which resort would be best to stay at with such a young guest to make it easy on her parents? We normally stay at the Grand Floridian.

Assuming you'll be spending a slight majority of your time at Magic Kingdom, Lynne, I would say that any of the monorail resorts would be an excellent choice for your trip.  That would include the Grand Floridian, Polynesian or Disney's Contemporary.  The nice thing about the monorail resorts is that your granddaughter's parents can push the stroller right onto the monorail, making it easy to allow a sleeping child to remain that way!  Of course, it also provides quick and convenient transportation to Magic Kingdom.  The monorail resorts each offer fun character meals and popular table-service restaurants that will enhance your trip.  Have a wonderful time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
