We are planning a family vacation In February of next year. I have to rent an ECV And I was wondering if I could take it into Sabby's workshop to build a lightsaber?

    Hi Theresa,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! How exciting to hEAR that you already have your Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the books!

Savi’s Workshop is an experience like no other, who wouldn’t want to build their own lightsaber by hand? It’ll be such a cool experience. Remember, that advance reservations are encouraged for this experience and can be made 60 days prior to your trip.

In the “Know Before You Go” portion of the Savi’s Workshop page, it details that “This experience takes place in an enclosed space with low lighting levels.” From that description and pictures I’ve seen, it looks like there may be limited room in the workshop for an ECV.

But no worries, when you arrive for your reservation, you’ll want to connect with the Cast Members at the check-in location to confirm what you should do with your ECV. At that time, you can share your comfortability transferring out of the ECV or if you need additional support!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your Savi’s Workshop experience next year. In the meantime, if you have other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
