we are planning a family vacation to Disney June 2013 and planning to stay at the Contemporary Bay Lake Tower. Do you know when Disney allows bookings for June 2013? Is a two bdrm villa suitable for 6 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 3)?

    Hello, Melissa!

The short answer to your question is "now!"

While you can't make a reservation for a stay at a Walt Disney World resort using the online booking system past December 31, 2012 (at the time of this writing), you can call Disney Reservations at (407) 939-7905, and book your stay up to 499 days in advance!

Regarding a stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, we've stayed several times in a two bedroom, with as few as four of us (most recently) to as many as ten of us, and we always had plenty of room!  You will have a king size bed in the master bedroom, two queen-size beds (or a queen-size bed and a double-size sleeper sofa) in the second bedroom, a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room as well as a sleeper chair (big enough for the average adult). The beauty of this particular resort's two bedroom villas is that there are three full bathrooms in the unit, so that anyone who is sleeping in the sleeper sofa or chair has easy access to a full bathroom right inside the main entryway, without disturbing those who may be sleeping in one of the bedrooms.  Love it!

Another consideration you may have is which view you'd like to have.  Aside from Standard View, a Theme Park View will enable you to watch Wishes from your very own balconies (you'll have TWO!) or through your oversized windows in the living area (!).  A Lake View room, on the other hand, can provide you with gorgeous horizons, a view of the pool and, depending on location, a nightly view of the Electrical Water Pageant.

Love, love, love Bay Lake Tower; you will too, for so many reasons!  This is one of my home resorts as a Disney Vacation Club Member, so when you book, please be sure to send me resort-specific questions, too!  I'd love to help!
