Hi we are planning a family vacation in 2013 to celebrate my parents 70th birthdays and their 50th wedding anniversary. Could you advise which moderate resort you feel to be the best we will also have 3 children-10, 4, 1. Thank you for your honest advice

    Hi Jo,

First of all, Happy Anniversary and Birthday to your wonderful parents! Celebrating with the entire family in Walt Disney World will make for some truly magical memories.

Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite moderate resort.  It just seems more intimate than some of the other resorts, and it's in a relatively central location.  You children will love the pools, and you can even take a boat ride to Downtown Disney.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
